I know this is a long story but I feel I have to tell what happened. I want to know if I'm wrong for thinking this?
I called a number I got from another breeder, she said she had 1 male puppy that was ready now and some puppies that would not be ready till the end of May. I made an appointment to see him Friday, well I got done early Wed. was in connersville and called her to see if I could come and see him early, I was so excited I couldn't wait!!!!
So I told her I would be there in 20 min. and she said that was fine. I drove up very nice house beautiful had Yorkie banner out front, I thought ok this looks good...
I go inside and the house is beautiful Yorkie nic nacs everywhere. Didn't see any pups so I figured she had them put up. We go through the garage there is a large walk-in cage with a mommy and 4 tiny puppies, they are all so cute.
Mom looks good and puppies look good. Then we go out to the back yard to the Yorkie house, very nice place there is one right inside the door, he's bigger than I thought but he is adorable. She said he is 7 mo. old so I want to see his parents they are very good looking, Dad is beautiful, I really like him.
After some thought and showing her pictures of my furbabies I think to myself, this will be alright I won't have the late nites up with tiny baby. So We go inside and start filling out paperwork and she gives me a goodie bag, with food and what nots. We get on our way and he is quite nervous, which I new was normal. After we get to our location I put him on a leash and he does not know anything about that...ok.
Well when I get home I get the bath tub ready for his bath, he smells like he has some kind of doggy deodorant on. Start bathing him and I think OMG his fur is falling out
Get him out and start drying and brushing him his fur was all different lentghs, she said he had just been groomed!!!!!!
I did not believe. Poor baby he has no social skills at all....I couldn't understand.
After I thought about it I think she was running a puppy mill, she didn't socialize with the poor babies just use them to make money... the hole thing just really upsets me..
I feel like I paid to rescue this poor little fellow.
I just don't know how to train one that has been in a 5 by 5 fenced room all his life. He is coming around, but I think that it's going to be a long process.
Sorry this is so long and maybe boring to some, but I would like to know what other people think!!!!!!!!!!!
