I have wondered about the twin thing as well. In Coco's last litter there are two puppies that I just can't tell apart. Only my granddaughter knows for sure which is which...
With Ruby's litter, I had two very close in time - one pushed the other out, but we had a placenta in between them.
That would be a great question to ask your vet. then let us know.
