I think it depends on where you are going. You'll probably get many responses from people who camp with their yorkies. We go camping a lot, but in our travel trailer. Our boys always go with us and yes, even in RV parks there are things to watch out for. But they love it and we'd never leave them home. Really they are the reason we have a travel trailer now - we had a big 5th wheel - too big for us now - and we sold it a few months ago and bought a little 18 foot tt. The main reason we bought the smaller one is so they could travel with us. It's just too hard to stay in hotels with them and we won't leave them at home, if we can help it.
