Did the vet say how this might have happened? Had your boy, been straining or seem constipated at all? Or doing the boot scooting? What's your guy's name?
We had no signs here when we had problems, until it was too late |
I hope there is a difference in him! His name is Huey. The vet said he check his anal glands and the left one had a little fluid in it and nothing with the right, so it was not those. The lining of the inside of the anus had become infected and was starting to push outward to the outside of his poor little butt. The vet said he did not know how it happened. He has not been constipated or anything. He has been really good and active until this morning. So it came on suddenly. I am staying home this weekend with him so I am going to watch him very carefully. His poor butt and he looks a little funny now too because they had to shave the area so he looks like one of those moneys with the bare bottoms.
Hopefully things will clear up with the antiboitics and we will have no more problems.
