Max sleeps in his own crate at night. When we first got him I put my bedjacket in beside him, and let him come in the bed after his first potty time in the morning. I sat the crate so that he could see me asleep in bed.
He has a bigger crate now, and blocks us off with the bedjacket, so that he can't see us. It's really quite funny to watch him block the door with it.
He still comes into bed with us and sees it as a reward for being a good little boy.
