After looking over all of the pet insurances, I opted for the
ASPCA pet insurance. I can't remember the specifics, as it was a while ago, but I know it fit my needs the best. For me, not getting it wasn't an option. The cost of living here soooooo outrageously expensive. Spaying alone at a vet clinic is $695 bucks. Goodness knows if something unexpected were to happen, I wouldn't want to be caught not being able to afford treatment. But again, this is just my particular situation. Everywhere else we've lived is waaaaaay cheaper in terms of Vet bills (as is, of course, COL). Once we move from here, we probably won't need the insurance anymore. I've had pets all my life & we've never needed it until we moved here.
