I have taken my lil pup in my bag with me into many stores. No way am I leaving him in the car especially if it is a hot day or if I'm going to be away from the car for awhile. With my first bag, my pup had figured out a way to stick his head out and that made me focus more on him then what I needed to get in the store. So, yes I broke down and purchased a second bag and this one, he has little mesh screens so he can peek out and smell and all that good stuff. I haven't had any trouble in WalMart or Target or even Nordstroms when I take him in. In fact, many of the employees insist on me opening the bag up so they can have a better look.

I even went to a restaurant right after he had his surgery and I really wanted to keep an eye on him and they told me to bring him in even though there wasn't room on the patio....we were inside. Even the other patrons didn't mind.

Of course, I don't take him in if I see....."No dogs allowed for any reason on the premises." And the only place I've seen that so far is World Market.

Has anyone been in trouble with an establishment for taking in there pup in a bag? If so, what did they say to you?
