The Evangers food is safe. It's a paperwork issue. I have heard from multiple people who have contacted them directly and there is no danger with the food. If you read the FDA press release carefully, that is all it says, that they need to obtain a certain permit. They probably do this kind of thing all the time but everyone is on edge with the food recalls AND because of Rachael Ray, everyone knows the name Evangers now. The food isn't being recalled.
My dogs have vomited up Evangers before because I was an idiot and fed them 100% chicken when they are used to chicken+veggies or kibble. After I started feeding formulas that were pasta/veggie/rice/chicken, they were fine. Every dog is different. If you are concerned please contact the company directly and I'm sure they will be happy to explain it. Lauren I'm sure Mango is just fine!!
