Chewy is just delicious. I too have a larger Yorkie. She is one and a half and probably 15 lbs. now. Her neck also seems long to me, and she does the reverse sneezing a lot, especially after drinking water. But when she was about five months old, she had a piece of corn cob stuck in her throat and stomach. $2,500 later, she will always have a sensitive throat. Corncob you ask? Well we were told they like to chew on them, and we thought since she was a puppy, she would just gnaw on it. Well, about a minute later I looked down to check on her and it was gone. She swallowed one big piece hole and one smaller piece. That was a very hard learned lesson.
But, like Chewy, she is very active, which I really enjoy. She plays catch, swims, wrestles, and runs, runs, runs. She's very smart and affectionate. People usually ask me if she's a Silky or "Aren't Yorkies supposed to be smaller?" So the 7 to 8 lb. Yorkie I was told I was getting is now about 15 lbs. and I think she's still growing. But like you, I love her just the way she is. |
