I've never flown on Spirit before, but I am a flight attendant for United and the window seat will be colder on the floor for your baby. If you get the window, just wrap the kennel in a blanket and your baby should settle down. I like to wrap the kennel, no matter what seat I get, then they can't look at me and start to whine.
