Why? I thought the products rule only applied to things like hairspray? i have shown AKC and UKC both with conditioner in my dogs hair. I never heard of this before. Thanks |
It really depends on the coat type. For a true silk the conditioner will weigh it down and make it look stringy on the ends. For a modified or softer coat a light conditioner won't be bad. No conditioner on the head will help you acheive a better poof for your topknot. There are no rules against conditioner it just works better without it. A light misting of a shine conditioner before you go into the ring works well but don't get it on the ends.
