We had to let a contract dentist we had go because he treated the staff like slaves and thought the was so much better than everyone else. He was a high producer and a great dentist but he had an anger management problem and we were afraid of potential liablity for an "abusive work environment".
Your description of this dentist sounds very similar to my boss. He gets very anger if you question him at all.
