I think if you want to start a daycare you will have to be in an area that is zoned for business and has no pet limits or restrictions.

You will also need insurance and you'd most likely need to check with your homeowners insurance to see if that's allowed -- if the zoning and limit laws allow for you to have a business like that in your home.

You would also need to apply for a business license (to pay state taxes), tax id and the like I would assume.

I've seen daycare prices go from 10-50 a day depending on location and amenities. Current Vaccinations are always required from my experience for all dogs that are allowed to go to daycare for insurance purposes.
