I had Lasik in 2001. Best money I ever spent!! I couldn't find my glasses without glasses prior to it, I was so nearsighted.
My advise -- Take ALL the Valium you are entitled to, if they say take 2...take 2. I was given 2 and told I could take them both, but I took 1. Then I was complaining during the procedure I could feel it when she (the doctor) did the left eye, in actuallity I probably couldn't. So take 2 if you can. LOL!

Oh, I see fine now 7 years later. But I do now need reading glasses for close work or reading. Doesn't bother me at all to have those little cute reading glasses because I just wear them as needed. Not like before... when I HAD to wear glasses just to get thru life.
