Well, our siren, is outside, so you can hear it inside when it goes off, but it isn't so loud that she minds it. When it's gone off before, she's been fine, but that could be because it's usually my husband and I that accidently set it off and we are calm about it, so she's calm.
We have portrait windows in our home that go all the way to the ground... I hadn't even thought of someone breaking in through one of those! I was just thinking about the front door or back patio doors...
It's only been one break in... hopefully it will stay that way! When she got home, her sliding glass door was open. I am not sure if thats how they came in through, but it seems that's how they left...
