Some Yorkies are good swimmers. The biggest danger with a swimming pool is that if the Yorkie falls in the deep end where there are no steps to get out then many of them drown. I have heard of several dieing that way. You should never let your Yorkie in a yard with a pool unsupervised or at least I would not. It would be better if you could build a fence around your pool. |
