Yorkies can be somewhat hard to train in the potty issue. I think it depends on how much time you put into it.
I have 4 yorkies and none of them are 100% trained. I finally started putting "wee-wee wraps" on my males for when they have free roam of the house. My females pretty much use the washable potty pads and as long as I'm on top of it, they go outside for the morjority of the time, but from time to time we still have accidents.
