I would 100% go with the Durrer Yorkie over a Maltese/Yorkie mix from a breeder. I would never buy a mixed breed dog...if I wasn't particular about the type of dog I wanted, I'd rescue from a shelter or rescue group. There are a lot of purebreds and toy breed mixes in shelters and rescues just waiting for homes. I'm sorry but no reputable breeder will EVER advertise "teacup" anythings because they don't exist. It's a made-up term that unethical breeders use to make more money off of people that don't know any better. All toy breeds are small...there is no "teacup" classification in any breed of dog. It's a scam. I'd go with the reputable breeder and get the yorkie

Purchasing from backyard breeders, pet shops, and puppymills perpetuates the suffering of other dogs.
Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
