Well, I got brave last night and washed his face. First I used a warm, damp cloth to loosen up the eye boogers and just picked them out of his hair. They seemed to slide right out after the area was wet. I give him a bath in the kitchen sink so I can use the sprayer thing. He seemed to like it...just sat there like a good boy. I put a little shampoo on my fingers and rubbed each side of the muzzle area, under his chin and the top of his head. With the sprayer on low, not super jet stream high...washed it all out. The washed the rest of him. Now he's all fluffy and he looks much happier.
