I suppose no one can sing it as well as Michael Crawford. Brooke screwed up big time tonight. She figured it worked for her once, so she did not feel bad trying it again. Like there is "no crying in baseball," there are no "do-overs" on Broadway. The song from "Evita" was "You must Love Me" and it needed more emotion. Not a country twang. Judging from last night's performances ..... I predict the top THREE will be David C., David A., and Syesha. Leaving the bottom three to be Brooke, Carly, and Jason. And I think Jason should go. JMHO. But it will probably be Brooke who leaves. Because Jason has a strong fan base. We are now down to where we pick the best of the not-so-good. Once again, my opinion. I think Michael Johns would have done well tonight. | Actually it was Jason that sang Memories. David A sang "Think Of Me" - from 'Phantom of the Opera' - I really couldn't believe the judges, especially Simon didn't praise him for changing the arrangement, as Simon said at the start of the show, that he wanted to hear something fresh with these songs |
