This thread has been so interesting and informative! Yesterday, I went to my local chain grocery store and talked to the butcher about this bone. He went in the back and brought out the whole leg bone and showed it to me. (Yuk!) Then he went and cut four two-inch pieces for me and it cost $1.15. I took out the middle and scrubbed the outside. Now it is in the freezer. So, Piccolo has had problems with pancreatitis issues in the past and I am hoping it will not cause problems. Hope to try it soon for her teeth.
