Thanks so much for sharing this great idea. I made this toy for Lily yesterday and she went BANANAS for it! She actually put holes in the first sock, after playing with it for over an hour. So I replaced it with a new one. I put some hard treats in the water bottle because I didn't have a squeaker. I was a little skeptical at first because she usually doesn't bother with toys.. BUT THIS WAS A HIT! It's light enough for her to whip around, and the crinkle sound combined with the shaking of the treats kept her engaged for a long time.
