 Never show when home alone-
My home is very secure, with ADT and cameras everwyere, but I now make sure there is at least one other adult with me regardless of how nice a customer sounds on the phone. Too many times they've shown up with a small crowd, making it hard to keep track of what they're all doing. One of us is always watching as they handle the puppies, and even then you'd be surprised how often they get dropped. Invariably someone needs to use the bathroom, another thing that makes me crazy since that requires they go to the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are. On the one hand, I appreciate that a customer has the concern to want to see the environment where the puppies are raised, but then they need to be more polite about this being someone's home and that they are not there as social callers. |
