Confused

Your Result: The Inland North

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

I have noticed so many different "regional accent's" in Michigan. The UP is different from the Trolls (you know, us that live below the bridge). The Western UP has more of a Scandinavian input. The SouthWestern part of the state has a mixture of Southern & Chicago. The counties that border Indiana pick up some of the Northern Indiana accents & pronunciations.
