I'm not a breeder, so I don't want to start anything,... but to me if you are already paying over $1000 for an average priced Yorkie (don't even make me tell you how much I paid for Brooke!!), can't you just add the AKC registry fee to the purchase price? Just like you would add cost of docking and dew claws removed? If you have 2-3 pups, it would be $10 or $15 more for AKC for each pup? Just wondering!
