It used to get cut with thinning shears so it didn't have a straight-across look, but I'm growing it all out right now so I can pull it all back up in a topknot. My parents always kept it cut so I kept it cut too because I didn't see the point in going through the messy stage if they were going to cut it again anyway. But it's pretty messy right now because it's growing out. In a few more weeks I hope I can pull it back some. It's getting pretty long now
