As for the germs...yeah, that can kind of be a pain I wash my hands like CRAZY after messing with the raw food, and even though I don't let it touch the counters (unless I just drop some by accident) I ALWAYS...ALWAYS spray the countertops down with Lysol Anywhere Spray after I am done preparing their food. Needless to say, I go through Lysol Anywhere Spray and paper towels like crazy And hand lotion too...because I wash my hands sooo much now that my skin gets so dry!
And because I am just plain lazy and got tired of washing their food bowls every SINGLE time they ate....I have now just started buying disposable bowls. How pathetic is that? I would rather PAY MONEY and have them eat out of something that I can throw away rather than wash food bowls out all the time...lol. It just became very time consuming and this is what works best for me so this is what I stick with. |
hahaha i do the same thing with the bowls. Morgan eats out of small paper bowls so i can just throw them out when she's finished. i rip of the medallions with my thumbs and index fingers only, and just drop them in the bowl. then wash my hands. then put the supplements on her food and give it to her. when she's done, i just throw the bowl away and don't have to worry about cleaning the raw meat dish.

i'll admit i'm lazy
