i think that the ranges on blood tests are from dogs that aren't on a high protein diet so Vet's think its bad. It can be bad, or it could be absolutely normal for a dog on a higher protein diet. Studies haven't been done on this information but it would be nice.

i think the test results are going to be higher but can't say if its fine or bad. you can get a Bile Acid Test done to see if those results are totally out of whack too.

Your right about not wanting to put him on science diet. its terrible food.
