It's great that this worked for you and I know they are your dogs and you can do what you like. It looks like you've been around for a long time and so you are probably aware of the dangers of collapsed trachea and such with our yorkies. Since you are fully aware of this, you can choose whether or not you'd use a choke collar on your yorkie.

However - there are many new members on this board who do not know better and I'd hate for them to run home and try a choke collar just because their pup isn't cooperating on a harness. It takes time to get a puppy leash trained, and I don't want anybody to stop and try a choke collar as an easy way out. They ARE dangerous and they absolutely should not be used on yorkies.

Just my opinion. Thanks for sharing, though.
