 Logan did NOT get neutered today!
The vet's office called me around noon and told me that Logan's bloodwork was abnormal. His kidney enzymes were elevated, and they figured that was due to the fact that he had not had any water since last night in preparation for surgery this morning. But his liver enzymes were also elevated, so they are doing a liver shunt test. This concerns me, of course. I talked to them a little while ago, and they said they were having trouble getting him to eat enough food for the test. I'm waiting to hear back as to whether or not they were able to get him to eat. I'm sure Logan is pretty stressed, which may cause him to not eat.
The results from the liver shunt test should come in a couple or few days. Oh, dear. |
