Here's a few ideas...
black/tan/white
black/taupe/white
black/maroon/white
black/grey/white
black/silver/white
grey/yellow/white
grey/pink/white/black
But I'd look at curtains first and draw some colors from that. I had a bedspread that had purples, silver, black and green in it and that sounds awful but it really was cool.
I like clean simple colors, too. Modern furniture - I think that's what you call it. Not futuristic - just clean simple lines.
