That is so sad
Was the woman even excited to see her baby? Did she want the baby back? You did do the right thing although it must have been so hard for you. Maybe if she is having so many problems with this baby who is obviously starved for attention you could call her back and tell her that Im sure someone from here (or you Im not sure) could take in and provide a better life. I wouldnt necessarily say better life to her, but do you think she'd be willing to rehome? The baby sure deserves it IMO.....some people just irk me because I think dog ownership is a priveledge and not all people are deserving of that priveledge
