I want to add that if Scout did something wrong to Ranger, don't give Scout hard time, just take them away from each other. Otherwise, Scout will think that he gets more 'punishment' after Ranger came, Scout might treat Ranger even worse. Of course, keep praising Scout like crazy when he did something good to Ranger. He will eventually understand Ranger does not come home to take away mommy from him.
Also give Scout more attention and 'ignore' Ranger for the first few weeks. This is what I did when I took Mochi home for the first few weeks. Kimchee finally understood mommy loves them to pieces and he accepted Mochi after 1 month.
