the wheat thing could be a big possibility.....also if the dog looks dandruffy that might just be it...my Smokey gets it from any dog shampoo...so my breeder told me to use sunsilk straighten up for humans...both shampoo and conditioner.....it has been wonderful for us....vet told me to watch the treats also...he said to always try to get ones that had meat as the main ingredient...also my Smokey is slightly allergic to grass...so my vet told me to give a very little like of benedryl if he doesnt stop scratching in 5 minutes of coming back inside....just what he can lick off your finger is enough
