Thanks for the information. The rescue organizations are so amazing and my heart goes out the little angels in need of homes. However, we actually won't be ready to bring home the new fur baby until then middle- to end- of summer because of a vacation we have planned (hence the end of April/early May birth date we are looking for.)
From what I keep hearing, it is difficult to find a reliable breeder in NYC. What I'm looking for, more than anything else, is a family who breeds purely for the love of yorkies, not as a business. I want the little fur baby to be home-bred and raised with lots of love.
If you hear of anyone in the NYC/NJ whose yorkie is expecting soon...keep me in mind!!
