My first vet tested mine for ringworm and thank goodness it wasn't but the treatment was for a very long time and could involve the liver. Also, it can be passed to humans and other animals. You must be very deligent in cleaning and disinfecting everything otherwise it can keep resurfacing. The treatment was at least 2 mos long and she told us that the pups needed to have mos of clean results before they are considered cured! |
