Ohh yeah I have been carrying him outside. I know if I let him down in the middle of the night he would go without waiting to get outside. How should I deal with that?
Luckily his crate does have an adjustable divider, so he has about enough room to lay down, turn around, but not too much extra space.
I've been thinking about trying a pee pad in my extra bedroom with a baby gate in the doorway so 1. he doesn't feel isolated and 2. he'll have a lot of room to run around when i can't always watch him. i feel so bad keeping him in a crate more than just overnight. will he know to use the pee pad instinctively?
