I can only imagine your surprise at seeing him at the front door and laughing at your description of him so calmly walking in for a drink
Are you certain he jumped the fence and he couldn't open the gate? My son's boxer has learned to nudge the latch open on our gate. I don't know what to suggest about the fence, if it's not high enough.....we've never had a jumper.
