Hi there! I am also a new yorkie owner and am crate training as well. My pup happens to sleep straight through the night and hasn't ever gone to the bathroom in her crate. We are very lucky in that area.

My first thought would be to ask how much food and water your pup has in the last 2 or 3 hours before bed?
