I have pretty much narrowed it down to those two breeds (GP or GSD), unless I see one that just absolutely jumps out at me. I'm talking to two excellent breeders of each breed, and I'm having so much trouble deciding between them. Either one will go to training classes as a puppy and obedience classes throughout the first year. I want a guard dog that will be gentle with the little ones. I'm living out in the country now and I need one that will appear threatening...lol
Those were the two breeds that were recommended to me by several people as being able to get along with small dogs they are raised with and cats. I THINK I'm leaning more towards the GP at this point...

Hun you should see Amy Our Golden.. She wont let anyone near our Babies
I though she was a Big baby till she bared her teeth at a stranger when they got to close to the yorkies.
As soon as I said they were ok she was fine.
I am sure what ever you choose will be Great for you
