 We had the best day!
Today Calli and I met up with "a2luckygirl" and Banjo and had the best day. The dogs were perfect all day. We went to the dog park but it did not have a separate area for small dogs and there were already several large dogs running around so we left there and went to PetSmart (where we left some of our money!) and while we were there we met another yorkie mommy! She had her cute little Bella there for puppy class so we told her about YT and they don't live very far from us so we got her name and number and Calli and I are going to try and get together some time soon for a play day! Then we stopped at Sheridan's Custard where the pups both got their own "puppy cone" courtesy of Sheridan's. They really liked those. After that we went to Gordman's to check out their doggy aisle (and left some more money!) and while we were there we met ANOTHER yorkie mommy! She has 2 yorkies and doesn't live very far away either and we told her about YT too! I am so glad I printed out some of the YT business cards to hand out! We also told both mommies about the Meet Up in June. I hope they get on here and see how awesome this site is. After Gordman's, we went to Petco and of course we found something to buy there too. Our last stop was at the Brookside Barkery and Bath where we just looked around a bit and visited with a couple of the gals that worked there and then headed back to the hotel where "a2luckygirl" is staying while she is in town. As I said, the dogs were perfect and I think we wore them out as they both rested on the way back. I imagine they will sleep good tonite! I had an awesome day and am so glad to meet Ellen and Banjo. They will be back again over the next couple of weeks and I hope we can meet up again and maybe get together with the two new yorkie moms we met today. |
