Oh, how very sad. That's a lot of bad news to take all at once. I feel especially sorry for your Aunt and her children. Everyone should be able to live long enough to see their kids grow up. Life can be difficult at times, I know.
On a lighter note, I checked out Maximus' dogster page and I must say "he is a cutie!" There's nothing like a dog to cuddle and "talk" with when your sad.
