She finally had her puppies this morning after 3 sleepless nights!!! 3 beautiful little boys. The first pup to come was a tough one feet first poor Bitsy. I pretty much had to do everything for the first one because it took so long to get out the second one came just moments after. The second one she needed a little help and by the third she handled it like an old pro. I am so proud of her. We are both exhausted . I'm glad the waiting is finally over and there here. One thing that I am alittle concerned about is that awhile ago one of the pups was out of the whelping box when I came in to check them. He was still warm and when I put him back in the box he started eating and she started cleaning him. So I don't know maybe he was just latched on too tight while she tried to get out at least I hope so. thank you all for checking in with me. I would have posted while it was going on but there was just too much action. |
