You might have to get an ex-pen and put him in there until he is a little older. I had mine in an ex pen until they were about 5-6 months old. Be careful of the cords, he could get electrocuted!! It's hard to watch them every minute when they are out running around!! I've also seen some people put bubble wrap around the bottoms of their furniture. If they chew on it, it makes a popping noise that scares him. Also if you catch him going to chew on something you can use a water gun and spray him in the face and say "no" or get an empty soda can and put some coins or nuts and bolts in it and tape up the hole and when you see him chew say "no" and shake the can. It startles them and eventually they will stop. It takes time though and it won't be the first items he chews!! Good luck!
