Perhaps you can look into a pets hotel, or other boarding facility, in the city where your grandmother is? That way you can always stop by and see how your baby is doing - which may ease any of your anxieties.
However, I'm sure there are many other boarding facilities in Chicago. 24 hour surveillance was very important to me, and not many places have people present round the clock so that's why I went with the Pets Hotel. |
The 24 hour surveillance made me feel alot better. My vet doesn't even have 24 hour surveillance for the animals that stay over night. I would let him stay at one in Alabama, but it would be pricey. I would have to pay for his plane ticket down there and back, plus the fees at the Pet hotel.
