The only two times my seven month old Austin has humped anything was the day after we brought him home when he was 9 wks old, he humped his stuffed gator and about two weeks ago when he finally humped his stuffed Ollie the ostrich. We also have an eight year old neutered retriever/chow mix who is SO SWEET but about a week ago he attempted to hump Austin - we were not worried cause he is so big - over 100 pounds! We couldn't help but laugh! The dominance thing is very true and makes sense. Even though they are the best of friends, its a daily battle between the two who is king! We plan on breeding Austin, and I worry that he won't be able to perform sometimes!
