Sounds like it will take a bit of time to get every one on the same page. I would keep them separate, and give Scout lots of extra attention, keep doing what you are doing (praise him for his good acts). Be patient and give it time, it will work out. Just don't try to rush their relationship, that is probably the best advice I have ever been given about adding to a furfamily.
