Hi Everyone,

I have a female yorkie who is 9 1/2 years old.
My yorkie has allergies/ trouble sleeping at night so my Vet who I saw yesterday suggested I give childrens Benadryl liquid nightly to take care of the 2 problems. Rather than sedate her every night with a sedative; since her allergies make her nose drip and she licks her nose to catch the drainage; so much that it is drying out her nose. So He advised putting a little vaseline and rubbing it in her nose so it stays moist which I have been doing.

My question is she is 7 1/2 pounds how much of a children's liquid Benadryl dose would I give her of the childrens's Benadryl Liquid at night. He said what ever it says for 7 lbs. but they go by the age of the child and not pounds on the Benadryl Box. Any suggestions???

Also I need a recommendation for a arthritis supplement for my Yorkie is there any holistic or recommended brands that you use for your Yorkies; please let me know.
