It seemed to get better but today she's doing a log of sneezing. Am wondering whether to be concerned or not. Is it par for the course or do I ask a vet? |
I'm not from Texas but my little one sneezed like crazy one day and I realized later he was bit by a spider. His belly and head were covered in red blotchy hives. He's nose-to-the-floor whenever I take him outside and he sniffs everything. When he finds a spider or a bug and it bites him (even little ones) he sneezes like 75 times or less if I get to the benedryl in time. So, I keep the capsule version of benedryl onhand (there is one kind a dog can't have..I think it the one with both the antihystamine and decongestant ingredients that is bad for dogs, so I think you need the one with just the antihystamine) so I can break it open and dab the tiniest bit of the powder on my finger and stick it on his tongue. That usually works.
