I have a little help to offer - if you really have to sell your things - try Craigslist - then you don't have to worry about shipping and can get what you ask for most of the time. After my husband died 6 months ago

I pretty much sold everything I listed - I kept my nice furniture etc - but sold anything I could put a price tag on - I HAD to downsize for an apartment - but I downsized SO much that there was a few things I wish I DIDN'T sell - so pick and choose carefully -
